Top 5 business blog mistakes

We'll be getting into this in more detail in our next issue, but I thought this was a great blog about, well, blogging.

The pointers in "Top 5 Business Blogging Mistakes" are spot on, and taking advantage of slower business to do things like build a better blog that can attract more customers is a great idea. Their tips include things like updating regularly which is extremely important in recessionary economies. If you're last post is from six months ago, clients may think you've gone out of business.

On the other hand, treating your blog like a press center and posting uninteresting to anyone but you clips of information is strongly discouraged. Post often, but keep it a bit personal and interject your personality in each piece.

Take it from someone who reads press releases all day long, I don't want to read another one! When I'm catching up on my blog reading, they better be thoughtful, funny and insightful!
